Full Stack Developer
Salary: £35k - £40k (depending on experience)
Requirements for the Full Stack Developer
At least 4 years previous Full Stack experience
App Platforms and API experience: Apple, Google Android, Microsoft Windows,
Extensive experience around: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Swift, Objective-C, C, C++
Strong back-end programming languages such as: Java, Node.JS
Extensive experience around databases: SQL, Google Datastore
Ability to be creative in coding, with a problem-solving approach
Knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation
Experience of working in Application Development
Knowledge of data warehouse and database design, implementation, and support
Competent and pragmatic problem solver is a must-have trait.
As the ideal fit as a full stack developer, you'll be working day to day on:
Creating responsive user interfaces with excellent usability, working in collaboration with the design team on UX, wireframes and testing
Lead and launch the apps on the digital platforms
Diagnose and improve the products speed – (speed optimisation)
Producing documentation and ensuring proposed solutions are fit for purpose.
Ensuring that communication to the business is professional, clear and appropriate
General apps maintenance - Performing maintenance programming and correction of defects
Lead the launch of the business livestock features and functionality online
Designing and maintaining databases utilising strong SQL and database programming skills.
Developing new features for our apps and improving the customer purchase journey
Providing ad-hoc analysis and reports on the apps
Ensuring the site code is stable and audited on a regular basis
Work with the web team to prioritise development tasks based on complexity, customer needs, and roadmap
Understand how external applications integrate and exchange data via APIs, and be able to deliver robust scalable applications and handle data from a variety of sources
